In July, Yuja Wang embarks on a four-date tour throughout Europe with the renowned Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, led by the esteemed conductor Gustavo Gimeno.
At the heart of the program lies Sergei Rachmaninoff’s masterpiece, Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. This virtuosic composition showcases Yuja Wang’s unparalleled talent and technical prowess, as she breathes life into Rachmaninoff’s intricate melodies and dazzling piano passages. Complementing this musical gem, the program will also feature Richard Strauss’ Suite from “Der Rosenkavalier” op. 59, as well as Maurice Ravel’s lush La Valse.
