Yuja Wang joins The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in their season-long celebration of the ensemble’s 80th Anniversary, on New Year’s Eve at the Charles Bronfman Auditorium in Tel Aviv. Ms. Wang is featured on two works on this spectacular programme: Shostakovich’s Concerto No.1 for Piano and Trumpet with trumpeter Yigal Meltzer, and Mozart’s Concerto for Two Pianos with Lahav Shani, who also conducts Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute and Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé, Suite No. 2.
