Wang has a long, rich history with the BSO dating back to 2007, when she filled in for Argerich who could not play then with the BSO for health reasons. I was at one of those stunning concerts in March 2007 in Boston featuring Wang performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
