On August 10 and 12, Yuja Wang performs with the esteemed Oslo Philharmonic under the baton of the orchestra’s chief conductor, Klaus Mäkelä. The dynamic program will feature Jean Sibelius’ final tone poem Tapiola, Richard Strauss’ heroic orchestral work Ein Heldenleben and Franz Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 which will showcase Ms. Wang’s tour-de-force performance of this trademark piece.
The concert on August 10th will take place at the Oslo Concert Hall in Oslo, Norway, while August 12th’s performance will be located at Royal Albert Hall in London, England as part of the internationally recognized BBC Proms. This thrilling event will be available to stream through BBC Four.
