Near the end of Yuja Wang’s European recital tour, she will perform two concerts with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zürich under the baton of her long time colleague, Lionel Bringuier. On June 7, she will join Maestro Bringuier and the TOZ in a program of Strauss’ Don Quixote Op. 35, Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3, and Ravel’s La valse at the Tonhalle Maag.
The concert on June 8 will take place at the Münsterhof outdoor theater and is free to the public. The program will include Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Prokofiev’s most notable Piano Concerto – No. 3, and Ravel’s La valse.
