Yuja Wang joins Gustavo Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela in performances of Olivier Messiaen’s monumental “love song” Turangalîla-Symphonie on tour in Europe in January 2016.
On January 7, Yuja, Gustavo and the Bolívars launch the tour in Barcelona at the Palau de la Música. They bring the ten-movement symphony to the Halle Aux Grains in Toulouse on January 8, the Philharmonie Luxembourg on January 10, the Southbank Centre in London on January 16 and the Cologne Philharmonie on January 24.
