Concert at Tanglewood Festival with Andris Nelsons and the BSO

On July 15, Yuja Wang returns to the Tanglewood Festival for a concert with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Under the baton of Andris Nelsons, the program will include Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4, Beethoven’s Concerto No. 1, and Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms featuring boy soprano, Rafi Bellamy Plaice. This year, the Tanglewood Festival dedicates their season to the birthday centennial of Leonard Bernstein, who attended and performed at the festival for 50 years. Yuja Wang has previously received critical acclaim at Tanglewood:

“The commanding Chinese-born pianist Yuja Wang gave an energetically colored account of the Ravel…She met all the challenges of virtuosity with elegance…” (Boston Musical Intelligencer)
