Concerts with the Czech Philharmonic in Vienna, Hamburg, and London

Fresh off the heels of her performances with the Czech Philharmonic and Semyon Bychkov in Prague last month, Yuja Wang reunites with the ensemble to tour Vienna, Hamburg, and London. Tour dates include March 4 at the Musikverein Wein, March 11 at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, and March 15 at Barbican Centre.

Ms. Wang interprets Rachmaninoff’s popular Piano Concerto No. 1, a work the composer wrote at only eighteen years old, and which Yuja made her debut performing last month with the ensemble. Also featured on the program is one of music’s most compelling symphonic poems, Smetana’s Má vlast, Kabeláč’s Mystery of Time. Passacaglia for Large Orchestra, Op. 31, and Dvořák’s tuneful Symphony No. 8.

Additionally, Yuja’s performances with the ensemble last month in Prague will be broadcasted via Mezzo on Monday, February 28 at 21:00, Wednesday, March 2 at 00:20, and Friday, March 25 at 13:00.
