On October 14 & 15, Yuja Wang will play two of the repertoire’s most monumental works in concert with the New World Symphony, led by Maestro Michael Tilson Thomas. She performs Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 4 and Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 5 in G major, Op. 55 on a programme bookended by two other Russian masterworks; Rimsky-Korsakov’s Cappriccio Espagnol and Prokofiev’s Suite from Romeo and Juliet. These concerts celebrate the 30th anniversary of the NWS, heralding a tremendous start to the orchestra’s season.
