Yuja Wang embarks on an eight-city tour of Europe with Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony for their 2015 European Festivals Tour this summer.
The tour kicks off on August 28 in Edinburgh, as Yuja joins the San Francisco Symphony in Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto. They bring Beethoven to Wiesbaden for the Rheingau Festival on September 3, to Amsterdam at the Concertgebouw on September 13 and to the Paris Philharmonie on September 14.
Yuja is also spotlit on tour for Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 2, which she plays with the Symphony on August 31 at London’s Royal Albert Hall, September 6 at the Sala Palatului in Bucharest, September 11 at Lucerne’s Kulture-und-Kongresszentrum and September 12 at the Philharmonie Luxembourg.
