With New York Philharmonic, Yuja Wang joins Esa-Pekka Salonen for Messiaen’s “Turangalîla-Symphonie”

Yuja Wang takes the stage with conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen and the New York Philharmonic for performances of Messiaen’s monumental love poem, Turangalîla-Symphonie.

The March 10, 11 & 12 concerts at New York’s Lincoln Center follow Yuja’s performances of the work on tour in Europe with Gustavo Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela in January 2016.

Yuja most recently appeared with the New York Philharmonic in February of this year as soloist in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 9, “Jeunehomme.”
